PETROGENESA BATUAN DIORIT PADA FORMASI DIORIT LEMBAI DESASNAIMBOY, KECAMATAN WARMARE, KABUPATEN MANOKWARI, PROVINSI PAPUA BARAT

Desa Snaimboy and it’s surroundings are a neolithic rock composed of diorite localized gabbro (Pieters et al., 1990; Webb 2020), which widespread form small mounds to the mountains. It is dominated by Tertiary intrusive igneous rocks. The purpose this study analyze characteristics petrogenesis rocks in Lembai Diorite Formation area. Analysis that can describe lithology origin formation carrying out petrological analysis petrographic analysis.
 results show has characteristic weathered color brownish black fresh with white spots. Granularity general faneric – porphyritic, euhedral subhedral crystal form, holocrystalline hypocrystalline crystallinity, coarse very size, inequigranular uniformity. structure generally massive. mineral composition 5-10% quartz, 50-60% plagioclase, 10-20% k-feldspar, 30-40% hornblend, 1-3% biotite, pyroxene (Travis, 1975).
 mainly consists syenogranite monzogranite. type magma peraluminous or MPG (Muscovit-bearing Peraluminous Granite) (Barbarin, 1999).
